History of java

                       JAVA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

HISTORY:

Java was developed by team led by James Gosling at Sun Microsystem in 1991 to use it in embedded chips.
Initially it was names as OAK. This is because there was an "oak" tree outside of the organization where it was developed.
In 1995 it was redesigned to develope wed application and renamed as "JAVA".
"HOTJAVA" was the first java-enabled web browser.
